SDL Shard Eldoris

Yes I'm taking a huge plunge here

After many days contemplating I was actualy encouraged by my husband to give this a shot, so I shall.

Shard Eldoris loosely translates to fragment of the sea.

Age is 19 but she acts a lot older then she looks.

Height is 5'7"

Likes/Dislikes: Dislikes anything and everything that is sweet. This includes food, people and places excluding children which happen to be one of her known weaknesses. She does however, like sour candy too once in awhile.

Personality: very vein and conceited even knowing her station in life. Life is very boring to her and most things are on her disdain list. She doesn’t like to talk much unless it will get her something she wants, be it of material value or to get you to go away. She hides her true emotions behind her bored façade, if she shows anything besides…well…we’ll have to wait and see…<.<…>.>…(edited because I wasn't happy with the previous explaination. )

Bio:

What is known of her childhood is brief. She was born in Greece and at the age of 9 was kidnapped during a Persian invasion. She was later taken to the sultan as a spoil of war. There she was groomed to be a pleasure slave and taught their language. At the age of 14 when she was to take up her place amongest the harem she killed three guards and escaped.

Found as a stow away she was captured once more by a merchant and sold into slavery to a lower daimyo in Japan. There she was taught the language, but had to fulfull the lord's needs in all things as payment. At 16 she attemtped to kill her master and was sold back to the same merchant handler that had found her. She was bought once more by a higher ranking sinister daimyo. He bought her becasue of her rumors of beauty, but also because of her history that was given to him by her slave trader.

Amongst his household she was taught to actualy fight, and treated like a mistress rather then a slave. For her services to him she was given lavish gifts. This did not deter her from trying to once again be free. The only thing she ever wanted in the world was to go back home to her beloved Greece, and her home by the sea. The daimyo knew her desire to be free, but he was selfish himself.

After summoning her to his audience in private he told her that she could be set free, but for a price. Finaly at 19 she saw her chance and took it without question. He told her after signing a contract what it entailed.

She was to enter the Samurai Duelers League and obtain the legendary sword and bring it back to him. One stipulation of her contract was she was to enter the league without her own weapons. She was to fight to the top with whatever she could find. Shard wanted to kill him then, but knew she had to do this. She vowed to get the legendary sword and come back and kill him with it. It would sustain her vengence and give her freedom.

Now she just had to survive....
