Here is the full body shot of Shard and her weapon. She is from my Chicken Strips comic I'm doing for the 100 themes challenge. I figured I'd practice with her since I know her and give you guys bit of a background as to why she is where she is and does what she does. If you aren't wanting to know then you don't have to read any further XD Everything comes form a story I wasonce going to write to be a comic, but fell through. Now I"mjsut using some of its ideas in a new story, but decided to go with the orignal here sicne it matches the new comic idea I started XD well some what XD

I know there are some things wrong..so no need to tell me XD I'm my own worst critic XD

Shard's bio...ish...

She was created and loved by the God of the ocean and seas, Poseidon. He created many sea fairing dragons, but none like her. She was the largest, and sleekest. It was not long before the two became lovers. It only lasted for a few millenia. The other Gods and Goddeses had a new creation to play with. Humans.

Poseidon not wanting to be out done, created a land for the new craetures to live on. Atlantis was born and soon Poseidon loved it more then he loved his dragons. Shard did not care for the humans one way or aonther until her lover turned away from her and began to lay with a human queen of his new found land. The slight had gone to far. heart broken beyond repair, she plotted.

Poseidon was sent away from Atlantis one day on a task that has been forgotten in time, but what is known that Shard exacted her revenge. She lunged out of the water and laid mascre to Atlantis and sunk it to the bottom of the sea where it still lay. When her ex-lover came back to find Atlantis destroyed his rage was unsurmountable, but it got worse. Shard's hate for humans and the god that had forsaken her had consumed her. She had waited for him to return and as he watcehd, she devoured the fallen queen of his destroyed empire.

Poseidon's wrath was swift. Since he had created her, he would remake her again. Into the one thing she loathed the most. All the while she cursed, ranted, raved, and wept at him. In teh end he cast her from earth in the form of a human. For eternity she would remain in that form. her new prison was a desert waste land. A buidling of only 3 rooms stood amongst the sand.

Poseidon abonded her there and for the next few millenia Shard exists there, only able to watch and learn from an inter-dimensional black and white TV set. To qulech her bordum and rage she made compaions of the only things available. Food. And the doo-dads that were left behind from the other gods and goddesess she made tools for which to amuse herself. Her favorite being the long metal bat that she put long nails through by hand. Over the eons her human form began to meld with her dragon spirit. She also learned to to send her companions through her Tv set to fetch items she desired. And this my frineds is where we all come in...
